They’ve flowered, bloomed, and fruited. Now we wait while the beautiful red berries turn black. It will be well worth the wait.

sweet little Lady Bug

Last night, I picked a pint of strawberries! These are the sweetest, juciest strawberries I’ve ever eaten!

It’s hard to get a photo of how many berries are in the field since they’re covered by all those huge beautiful leaves!

This is what was hanging onto one plant.   :)

Most of these plants were planted March 23 last year. 13 months to this kind of production!

Only 6 weeks after planting, a cucumber!

Looks about full size to me. Guess I should pick it before something else eats it!

These tubers suddenly appeared in 2 of the strawberry plants.

Only May 1st and this was our garden harvest.

Lettuces, spinach, onions, all the herbs you could want and tons of strawberries! Ummmmmm….

I spent all morning dividing hostas. Started 2 years ago with about 10-15. I now must have hundreds!

This is so wonderful. First time I’ve divided them. First time I even knew about it! I’ll let you know how they survive.

It’s been 5 weeks since I planted this baby and, boy, is he happy.

There were no cones on him at all when I got him and all the light green is new growth.

He’s absolutely gorgeous and a real showstopper.

Now we water and wait. It will be well worth it.

Lettuce, spinach, broccoli, onions, carrots, potatoes, green beans, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes.

I just planted a bush pickle cucumber plant. From seed, takes about 50 days to produce. I’m thinking, from the plant, about 5 weeks.

All new to me so, we’ll see!

And, I’m staking it, like tomatoes, so it takes less space.

And the beans are well up
only 8 days after planting the seeds!
